I run a TearDrop 12". All I need. Tippy 98C. I'm accuate as hell too...21" is too long. From experience, don't go over 14".

21" is too long. anything greater than ?16"? slows the ball down before it leaves.

No it is vented in a spiral pattern starting at 6 - 8" from the beginning of the barrel from the bolt side, basically it starts the same as any normal 12" barrel would.

I have been more than happy with the accuracy and performance of the barrel.

longer barrel = more accuracy for woods type games
shorter barrel = faster short shots for speedball type games

many of the better barrels are two - three piece.

^^ Indeed. Most of the $75+ barrels are still 2 piece.

Does anyone have a Tippmann with a flatline barrel? This graph's impressive.

What's better? A long barrel or a flatline barrel?

The Tippman flatline is actually curved (you can see when the cover is off). So it sort of rolls the paintball out of it and the spin keeps it going straight.
