Military guys, share your experiences
Guys in the army, navy, airforce...etc. Share your experiences. If you're still in, what do you do daily on the base? How did you get in? Are you happy with your experience?

I love the Army but I hate the unit I am with and just fed up with all the bullshit, so I am getting out January 7th hopefully to become a cop. Right now I am basically a janitor at the gym so that fawkin sucks.

I'll tell you from a military wife's point of view.
I hate it. He was deployed Nov 4, 02 - Jan 26,03 then June 26, 03 - Oct 4, 03
I don't like his squadron, because he's at a reserve base;but there is only one active duty shop (his) so they run things slackish. He works on aircraft, so he smells funny when he comes home.. makes me kinda nervous if when we have kids are they going to turn green?
