Right now my best friends pc looks hotter than mine, so I gotta make mine look even better. I am beating him performance wise in some places.

Yeah, my PC is pretty riced out. All of my fans are blue LED fans. h: My friend with the clear case has a couple of blue cathodes and blue LED fans as well. But performance wise, we're about the same...

I am all about performance first... mine is topped out until I can get some more money for a CPU swap.

Mine is a 1.8 GHz processor but I have overclocked it to 2.2 before. Don't wanna do that too often until I get an extra cooling fan.

1 GHz of DDR 2100 RAM, one of these days I will have extra money to get 2GB of DDR 2700.

128 MB DDR video card.

5.1 channel sound card

Good thing you brought that up. I completely forgot about that. What would you recommend for a good sound card, 5.1?

Don't go onboard 5.1 or 6.1, they are really big resource hogs.

Don't go Soundblaster if you are running Linux, drivers are kinda whacked out I've had issues before.

I'd say if you are running Windows find a good 5.1 or 6.1 sound card. Get the 6.1 and spend some money and buy the Logitech 6.1 speakers, those things are freaking amazing. (Kinda expensive though... )

I'd say go to newegg.com they have a Sound blaster live 5.1 card for $33.
