I've heard anywhere from no wait, to a week, to 2 months for washing after a paint job.
For waxing, I've heard wait 1 months, to 3 months.
Input?

You can wash right after a paint job but make sure you only use soap and water.. Some people have some weird chemical mixtures that will mess the paint up. Also the paint should be fully cured after 1 month for waxing but some shops say to wait a little longer.

well it all depends if the paint shop that you went to cured it already or they just painted it and ishhh. some shops actually heat treat it for awhile so you dont have to worry about when you can wash/ wax your car. also depends on what kind of paint and if he put alot of coats on it because it will take longer to cure. but generally on the washing id say about three days to a week with a soap design for auto paint and water as for the waxing about a month.
