so 600 for the kit plus shipping plus painting the kit... you'll prolly have at least a grand into it... if you like it go for it, but once you spend that money it is gone, you will not make it up in the resale if those are in your plans

No but he will have a nice looking car in his eyes and be able to enjoy the car with the new looks. I just dumped $3500 in a paintjob and body work for my car and I won't be able to get that back.....but I did it cause my car is a project car and something for me to spend my money on and enjoy the progress of fixing it up. Know what I'm saying?

yeah... i'm speaking from the perpective of someone that has done work like that

since i've owned my car i've had it repainted, had a body kit put on and have done quite a bit of work to it in that regard...

i'll just say that i learned my lesson and that if i could go back instead of buying a 13k car and spending 5k on it i'd rather buy an 18k car... thats just me

Believe me I know what you're talking about. I'm fixing to pay for my second repaint, my second lip kit, and i'm on my second set of wheels. I got my car and have spent over 10K on it but I keep on spending. Yea I wish I woulda got something like a Lancer, WRX, or even maybe a 240sx but this is what I got so why not make it look good in my standards and have fun doing it? Anywayz, enough of this and back to dude's thread we are whoring it up. h:
