Yeah...I like how you couldn't come up with anything but my age...my age has nothing to do with cars. So keep your lame comments to yourself.

Anyway, I like your civic, just drop/stock DIY headlights, genuine CTR's are a waste of money IMO.

just wait till you wreck your first car :chuckles: thats why I'm glad my first car was a geo metro :reechy:

foolish nonsense. and this brings up an interesting point.

you drive a $5000 vehicle (give or take). So if thats the case, whats $400 :dunno: you're making your car look cheaper with DIY crap. I know this, I've been up that alley. You buy the $100 headlamps on ebay, and you get exactly what you pay for. Its like buying stereo equipment, and getting the $50 subs at best buy. Its total shit.

I should know. Since my ctr's were destroyed, I've been rocking the DIY headlamps. When you compare the two, the DIY's really look like ass h:

but the point is, if you're gonna do something, do it right. If you're gonna mod a car, don't be a low baller. But then again, you're only 16.... Cars aren't cheap to work on.

CTR's are a waste of money if you're poor. DIY headlights run the risk of leaking and fogging up.

DIY headlights are a good idea if you have any kind of skills at all...they really aren't that hard to do...if you do it right they'll come out great...i had a set of aftermarket black housing headlights on my 6th gen accord, but somebody hit me in a parking lot and tore one of them up. i had the stock set still in my house, so i blacked them out...they came out great...they look better, and fit 100% better than those others...so it's not the DIY, it's the person who does the work that dictates the quality of the job. my DIY's have never leaked, the ones i bought did tho.
