sorry to bring this thread back but its unclear to me on how to get the guage cluster out of my 97 ex. i was thinking i would have to end up takin the better part of my dash/trim off, so i looked in my helms manual and it pretty much made it seem that way. i already had some amber bulbs so i figured i could give it a try. thanks in advance for any advice.

take the two screws out of the top of the plastic plate. you can see them if you look up into the cluster itself. then take out the four screws that hold the cluster in. pull it out and disconnect the plugs and there you go it should be out

Yeah, the CC is a bitch to take out. There is a good write-up on Honda-Tech about this (if it still exists).

I know this thread is dead as a mofo but if anybody could tell me the bulbs i would need for the cluster on a 97 accord LX.. that would just be orgasmic.

Dangit, it was supposed to take you to a page with all the bulb sizes for your vehicle including the one you were looking for.
