There was an article in SCC a couple years ago where they dropped and S2K and fitted it out with suspension mods...all Comptech. It was like 5 grand in Comptech equipment including the turbo, and it ended up greatly increasing passing times due to the turbo but the slalom speeds and roadholding went down with the Comptech parts and bigger wheels/tires. Maybe they were stock wheels, I can't remember. R&T also wrote about this, and it's written about in the book 'Honda S2000'.

Nice one HONDA GHANDI. What are those rims? BBS or Volks? I wanted to get the Volks SE37A (which I think are the ones in that pic) in Black but they don't make the offsets that I need..

VOLKS. what offsets are you looking for? Volk will make just about any offset you need provided you have the money and are willing to wait for them.

I am actually looking to run around 275 to 285 in the rear since I will be running some type of boost in the future.. Need the extra rubber to keep the handling up. I absolutely love those rims.. You have good taste!

Those wont fit Im sure of it. I have a friend with 19 inch rim running a 265 and it rubs all over the place.

On a side note, I have H&R coilovers and 18 inch rims that are lighter than stock. With tires as sticky as the S0-2's were I actually gained lap speed and have a more predictable oversteer window. Ask anyone that raced with me at second creek raceway last year, no one was passing me.

That's cool.. The tire sizes will work if you get the right offsets. I think the max you can go without looking stupid is 285 in the rears.. They stick out slightly but doesn't look bad. If you had someone flare your fenders, they would look awesome.. Anyway, what size are your rears? Rims.. Not the tires..
