Okay there... I guess I should go back to the Civic forum, huh. So 'technical' ... jack@ss Stop trying to sound smart about bulbs... You're just spitting out what others say.

Just wanted you to explain why it was boldly stated that "6000k sucks"... without any facts :nono:

BTW, 6000k look purple, a-la Audi. 8000k look blue. But anyway, I'm gonna leave this as it is. h:

4300K is what you should get. If you want a bit bluer get 5000K

Don't get anything higher then that. But if you want the most light possible 4300K is the best.

8000k is way too blue in my opinion... might look decent on the S2000 housing though

The higher the number means its changes in the color also it gets dimmer.

4300K is the brightest. And that is the point of HID right? If you want blue just get a blue $20 xenon bulb. And if your retarded get some 12,000K black light HID. :fawk: You can't see anything but at least all the road paint and road signs will light up from the black light HID.

Just get 4300K HID in the S2000. The HID projector lense will automatically make the light bluish due to the design of the lense. From a distance it will look bluish even though the light is white. Just look at how the BMW or the other cars with HID projectors.

However if your HID is housing like the IS300, Acura or Lexus LS430 then getting 5000 or 6000K HID is a good choice if you want a bluish hue.

Yeah, I am looking for a good price and brightness, not just color, like you said I can go get some 20 fake ones from Kragen.

I recommend Mc Culloch HID. Supposedly they claim their HID are made where it is in the same position as a stock halogen filament. So beam pattern is correct it is just brighter.
