whats the difference in k20a2 vs k20a3 besides the compression ratio and 40hp. Can you bolt up exhaust from type-s to base?

I'm pretty sure the header will bolt up from the type-s to the base. I think that the main difference's besides compression, is porting in the head and valve train.

i remember the exhaust and header are both different.

the engine is very different as well, besides the compression caused by pistons, camshafts... the crankshaft is also different. if u wanna gain that 40hp, it's better off getting the type s, cus K20A3 is just not very good.

I don't know if it is true, but I heard from a guy who races outlaws that the h22a crank can be machined to fit in the k20 block. I guess that with some weird modification these guys are getting like 500hp at the crank with out spending a whole lot of money. Allthough, they are running on methanol. hmmm... anyone else heard about that?
