wats invoice price?
im thinking about picking up a 98 GSR or 02 Type S. i do love the GSR though. but what is the meaning of invoice price to list price. i want to be able to figure out how to get the best deal when i go to dealership for RSX and test drive. i plan on picking 1 up this summer, are 02 models still in dealership, will they be on sale soon?

www.edmunds.com will tell you the invoice price.
I wouldn't recommend a 2002 model(I doubt they're still out there anyway)...there were a few problems with them that were fixed with the 2003 model, one of them being the rear suspension tuning.
If you wanted the best deal, you shoulda shopped this winter...summer is the busiest time of the year for dealerships. I'd say you could get a Type-S for about $500 or so over invoice if you're good.

If you go into a dealership and tell them that you know what invoice is on the car and let them know that you are serious, you can usually talk them into about 500 over invoice. Also, most dealers get a rebait on the vehicles so they will make more anyway.

KVL - don't be afraid to stand up and walk out if the salesman's not willing to work with you. Just look at the number of RSXs sitting on the dealership lots right now (well, at least in DFW, they're starting to slow down in sales.)
