I've had my 03 type S for about two weeks now and have had no shifting problems, I only have like 140mls on the car though. You could go with a REVO 6-speed short shift kit, only cost about $100

I've had my RSX-S since last June and it shifts like a dream everytime, never a problem. I have also installed a short shift kit from DC Sports and again, no issues... smooth as glass.

Mis-shifting (or more correctly, monkey shifting) is all driver error. Don't blame it on the transmission. True, the throw is shorter there is slightly less room but if you know how to drive stick correctly, you should adjust just fine

Oh boy you must be new at driving sticks, the tranny on the rsx must be one of the most forgiving tranny you'll ever shift. Wait till you get used to it, it'll be a hell of a fun car to drive.
