Have you been doing regular maintnance on it? More then likely you do need to take it to the dealer or another Acura certified mech. to have it checked out.

read your manual... the light comes on at certain mileage points reminded you to do scheduled maintenence on your vehicle. 2 minutes of reading and you should be able to turn it off yourself. Generally people take it to the dealer for this maintenence but it should also tell you all the services that are performed at this mileage point. If this is not the case you obviously have a sensor that has is triggering this light and you'll need to take it in for service or go to autozone have them pull the code its throwing at you and fix whatever problem it might be.

There isn't anything wrong with the car!!!! The Rsx's have a specific point that they hit where they are preprogrammed to tell the users that they should require maintenance. It will go off if you perform the maintenance or not. I couldn't figure out how to turn mine off either, but I just stopped in at the dealership and let them know that I don't get my maintenance done through them and they turned it off. It took about 5 min. but it was still a pain in the A$$ to go in there.

damn guys.. all you have to do is push in your trip reset button for like 15 seconds with the car on ACC and then turn it on.. its not a pain in the ass at all.. and if this does not work for you.. kinda hard to explain.. seeing I have not done it for about 6 months... just call the dealer.. tell them you serviced the car yourself and the light just came on.. and they will be more then glad to tell you how to turn it off yourself..
