my CAT went to poo, so my check engine light and atts light are on..

does this mean my ATTS isnt working now? it feels somewhat different....


ps- think i should just hollow it out since it makes my checkengine light come on? just curious...

I dont have an SH, but I could swear I have heard something about the ATTS light and the check engine light coming on at the same time for some reasons....... has your check engine light ever come on before W/O the ATTS light coming on?

 

nah.. but the engine code is saying it need a new cat..

i'm just trying to figure out if the atts is off or not.. :-/

 

Whenever there is a problem on the SH, ATTS light will always be on by default. With Engine light on you will lose VTEC and ATTS will be off. These are codes built-in to prevent damage from Honda. Also if you have high miles on your car, you may have to replace EGR valve due to carbon build up. This was the case it happened to me with the code print out.
