ok i have looked all over the net and could not find out where the ECU is in a 94 Prelude. I need to know where it is becuase im trying to put the P13 in replacment of the H23 ECU, since the guy who had the car before me didnt switch ECU's when he did the swap from a H23 to a H22 ...Where is the ECU located???

Is it on the passenger side under the carpet?

now,how do i tell if the chip is a H23 ECU (I know it is because my V-ten doesnt kick in, and i asked the guy if me switched ECU's and he said no) does it say a code or anything that would show its different from the P13 ECU

 

If he didnt switch it and the previous motor is H23, then the ECU is from the H23

 

The H23 ECU is a P14, it will have a sticker on it that says xxxx-P14-xxxx. The H22 ECU will say P13.
