Default USDM H22 or JDM H22

Ok, I already know the story on the difference between the HP between the USDM and the JDM h22a engine for the 93-96 preludes. I’ve got a new question though, in my talkings to the car nuts around town I've come into a problem that I can’t find the answer for. If I got jdm h22 is it true that the wiring harness comes on the right side of the engine bay as opposed to the left side? If so, does that mean ill have to extend wires in doing that? Or is it that the guys just blowing smoke. I already know I need to get the jdm ecu as well but changing a computer and running a new wiring harness are 2 different things. With that said, what’s the way to go?

Just use the wiring harness that is already in your car. I'm assuming your car isn't equipped with an H22, if so all you have to do is add a few wires for VTEC. The fuel rail is also opposite, but you can use the one from your H23 or F22.
