Loss of power in my 99 SH, help!
Hey guys,
I was hoping to get some insight as to why my 99 SH Lude isn't pulling like it used to/should. The car is completly stock except for an AEM cold air, installed this past Jan. (Christman present ) I don't beat on the car, and in fact, all my friends say I baby it compared to how they'd drive it. The problem is, I just got rear ended, and so the car's in the shop. While it's being fixed, I'm driving a rental. The rental I got was a Chrysler Sebring, 4 cyl, and it puller HARDER than my Lude, which is all sorts of wrong. Can anybody give me some advice as to what I could look into, tweak, or fix that would put the life back in my Lude??? HELP!!!

It doesn't necessarily mean your car is slower than the Sebring even though it feels like it pulls harder. I have been in a lot of cars that felt like they were pulling harder and going faster than my lude but I look down and I am only doing 40. For what its worth read this article http://www.speedoptions.com/articles/3519/ . That might help explain what I am getting at. There actually could be something wrong thought I am just saying this might ease some of your fear. Good luck to your lude anyhow.

Maybe you do need to beat on it a little, run it hard after it's warm. (won't take long in the crappy weather we've been having lately.) If I havn't really gotten on mine for awhile, just driving normal, I notice a little lag. If I beat on it for a little bit I notice a little more pep in her. blow the carbon right out of those valves :driving:
Also, when did you start noticing this? We've had some damn humid days as of late, which don't do an intake well. (I work in wilmington, I know the weather )
