Default catalytic convertor for a 95' prelude SE (california compliant)

i just discovered a hole in mine and need to replace. i saw someone else mentioned that Honda may still cover it if under 10 years or 150,000 miles but does that include if you are not original owner?

otherwise, what's recommnded as a replacement? and needs to be california compliant as i'm moving out there in a few weeks.

last question is if i buy it aftermarket, will a muffler shop put it on for me and will i save labor over muying direct from them (and how much labor am i looking at)?
thanks much.

i stopped in a shop today and it seems as though it's actually the flex joint right before the c.c. the mechanic says he can actually weld in just the flex piece rather than buy the whole pipe (OEM $500) for around $220. does anyone know what actual part this is and if it would be cheaper to buy online then have him install?

I usally call it the A-pipe if thats is whats bad it's time to get a header ... as it will replace that pipe and the exhaust manfoild and get you more power !!!

does anyone have any experience with the Bosal Header Pipe, exact fit etc? i'm open to other brands also, i just want to make sure it's an exact fit and has the proper O2 chip in it.

Default flex-pipe included?

although it's more than i was wanting to spend right now (need a new set of tires too), i'm still interested in the d sports header but will it still need a replacement flex pipe to fix current one with hole? the photos don't seem to include it
