Default 4th gen prelude question...

Alright all? Just a quick question to see if anyone can give me instructions on replacing the cv boot on my JDM 2.2 vtec prelude 1993, getting a small rumble from the front left of the car when turning right, and was wondering if it could be something to do with that??? Or the steering rack!!!! Hope it aint the latter!!!! Cheers......

From what I'm told a CV joint would sound more like clicking. I'd get a professional opinion before I went and started buying parts.

yeah dude i would hold up on replacing the cv joint. a rumbling sound eh, sounds like a bad steering rack. I agree, i'd have a mechanic who knows what hes talkin about take a look at it. Id have my dad answer ur question but im over this girls house right now.

When my CV joint was on it's way out it started out clicking, and I let it go for a while, then it turned into a rumbling noise. But yea, if your not sure what it is, has someone experienced check it out.
