Weird sound from engine...

OK I no longer believe its the clutch. It might be a bearing in one of the components like the alternator or power steering pump. Could be any one of the rotating components. Don't believe its internal to the engine. Might even be the idler/tesioner for the timing belt. Or even the water pump.

I had this sound in my old 92 accord, I was told it could possibly be a transmission bearing ??? But it was about that time when I traded it in without fixing it to get the 01 Lude.

Which side of the engine bay is it coming from?
It may also be the AC.

If it is only in one small RPM range in all gears then it is probably not your transmission ( can't be certain through a message board ). The AC clutch is a possibility. Almost impossible to diagnose without being able to drive the vehicle.
