Default the h22a engine

now i dont know about everyone else but the price of the 92-96 h22a vtec seems kinda steep when i could get an sr20det or 4g63t for the same price or in most cases cheeper which have far more potential then the h22.. but i guess what im relly getting at is does anyone know a reputable dealer that sells jdm h22a's for say under 1100 with low mileage say under 60k that would include complete motor and head all sensors all brackets and acesories for example ac compressor starter alternator intake manifold exhast manifold dizzy and fuel rail.. i will not be needing a wiring harness i believe i can get that figured out, and will not need fly wheel, transmission, or ecu... also shipping would have to be around or below 230. i have limited money to work with...

If someone could tell me if my accesories and brackets off my blown h23a1 will work on the jdm h22a then i would not require thoes eathier.. thanks in advance oh p.s im in the twin cites area of minnesota so a few hundred miles to pick up would also be okay

1100? good luck...

honda engine prices are always inflated cuz there's always more demand for them.

for 1100 bucks gosh, the only thing i can think of is a G23 frankenstein project.

Why not get a USDM H22? There are plenty available, and they are cheaper, and have equal miles to the "JDM" ones. If you really want an LSD tranny: saving the money and buying yourself a Quaife would be a better buy, and perform better.

Please do NOT say the JDM has more hp, its like 9 hp to the crank, and maybe 4-5 to the wheels. You won't notice.

Good luck finding a usdm h22 with under 60k miles......and for the same price as a jdm. Unlike the japanese people drive their cars over here until they die.

Only way you'll find a decent USDM H22 is from a wrecked Lude. Like smakdown said, we drive our shit til it's dead. Be prepared to pay good for good Honda engine.

Try contacting the guys at www.usedengines.com aka Japan Direct. They are in Raleigh, NC like 5 min down the street from me and are known for having a very good reputation especially around here.
