I have one-
You wont get much hp at all. Check www.aem.com for dynos and stuff.
My gas milage hasnt changed.
The only noise I hear, is when I accelerate hard, it sounds like its sucking air, not too loud though.

not much
First of all you should've got a real car!! second a short ram intake is nothing compared to a cold air intake so you'll probably only gonna get about 4 or 5 horsepower. Don't believe me waste your money and find out for yourself. Third if you wanna know what kind've gas mileage your gonna get read your manual, because with just an intake your probably not going to see anything.Fourth with the bay idealing hard to say with the car you got..

I'd say dont bother with an intake, but if you're really insistant on getting one, go on ebay and order one for $30 shipped. A tube is a tube afterall, theres no need to spend $180 buying into the brand name. If you want to save some money, just remove the resonator and it'll sound about the same as a short ram. Honestly, aftermarket intakes really dont yield too much power, if you think about it, a "full bolt on system" including intake, header, exhaust and tuning would usually yield ~20hp-25hp at the wheel, so assuming you only get the intake, that would be about 3whp or so... you might as well save yourself the hassle IMO.
If this is your first modification, I would get something that would make a noticible difference, ie. a short shifter/shifter adapter, sway bar or just start saving up for the TRD supercharger (i'm assuming you're doing these modifications to your Tc right?).... just my $0.02.
Just try removing the resonator first, I bet that its the sound that you're looking for. Although there are probably no gains in doing so, its free, wont void your warranty, easy, and i'm pretty sure you'll be satisfied with the results... just dont go around racing everythink on wheels thinking you gained 30whp

What an Ass Clown.
But for your question....I went from stock and put only a AEM Short Ram Air intake on....Got for $40 new.....Fell off truck discount.
Enough of that.......It didn't do much or anything for power. Didi not even notice and felt it was not even worth the $40 Bucks.
Gas mileage......No change.
It also Sounded like ass. It was super loud and unneeded....Everytime v-tec hit it sounded like Dookie.

I went from stock to a AEM Cold intake on my Old Civic and it was like night or day. The sound was a little louder but cleaner. I was very impressed.
I have since removed and sold the short Ram on my Prelude on Ebay....Bought a Drop in K&N filter for my stock air box.....Works Great. (Until I decide to actually get the AEM Cold Air intake...Maybe)
