Default 1985 lude help

hi im new to this forum but i just bought a 1985 dc lude and i was woundering what gen it was and i need a fuel/carb diagrams for repairing them i think the head gasket is blown so i gonna check the oil for water and the water for oil the check the compression. if you guys could get them diagrams i would be so happy. thanks also what motor is in it and what motor is in a 1987 fi lude 2.0 si

Not sure how much this will help but it is a second gen. It might be a A series motor but I'm not sure about the codes earlier than '88. The '87 might be a b20a. Look on the motor. Honda usually places the engine code in the front of the motor (down near the exhaust manifold). You can also try the forums on WWW.HPOA.ORG

It's a 2nd Generation, and you have an ET2 motor (was renamed to A18A1 in '87). The 2.0Si has a BT or A20A3, which is also found in the 86-89 Accord Fuel Injected models.

In Japan (and a couple other countries) there was a Dual Cam B20A available for the 2.0Si's (it's different from the B20A's from the 88-91 3rd gens)
