Lowering 5th Gen Help
#12
no see i want to lower either 1 inch, less, or not at all....i prefer not at all...so im prolly keeping the stock springs....i just wanna get new shocks/struts....which ones shud i get that will offer me a little sportier ride....i was thinkin the the kyb ags ones (red ones)...they got em on ebay for like 270

if you just wanna lower an inch, get the koni yellows with the adj spring perches to set ride height. you can lower it mildly and get superior shock performance from them. however, i don't know if new shocks will fix the noise, since ludes are notorious for a problem called "shock knock" which is a noise caused by something in the rear suspension and chassis.

hmm ite, cuz i was lookin into the kyb agx or tokico...since i dont really wanna spend 500 on shocks...i guess ill have to look into it...if i dont wanna lower it at all wat kind of shocks would be the best...around the 300 dollar range....i want them more performance oriented then the stock ones

lowering
heard koni's are not good for honda's. it is designed for european cars, like vw. i have kyb agx with eibach pro kit. it lowered mine by 1.3 inches. somehow the back looks lowered a bit more than the front. so it's more like 1.3f and 1.5b. hope it helps

ya i think im leaning more towards the kyb agx shocks...can i get stiffer springs that are stock height?? i live in the city so i wanna try and avoid lowering the car...i just want the suspension to be more responsive, etc...

PM me with your questions and I will answer them for you. As for a 1 inch drop, your best bet is probably the Koni Yellows as most have been suggesting. You will experience the best ride, full dampening adjustability and spring perch height adjustment (2 position).
