Friend's Prelude stolen near Philly.
Would you guys be able to keep an eye out for it?
My car was taken from the Gulph Mills Village apartment in King of
Prussia, PA last night.
Keep an eye out for this car:

It's a pearl white 2000 Honda Prelude with gunmetal Kosei K-1 Wheels.
If you see it, note the time and location and please call Upper
Merion Police at (610) 265-3232 and tell them you saw the Prelude from case 03-14832.
I cannot believe this. I'm still in total shock. The car was stolen
from my apartment parking lot, apparently last night. As some of you may know, my previous car, a 1993 Prelude VTEC was also stolen from this same lot about 4 years ago. My current Prelude was parked in the center of my apartment complex parking lot. There are tons of windows facing where it was parked. It was in a very well-lit, highly visible area. Given that my previous car was stolen, I went to great lenths to make this car very difficult to steal. As far as theft prevention goes, it had:
-Standard Honda Immobilizer on the starter.
-Covered VIN plate
-Masterlock brand club on the steering wheel (unpickable lock
mechanism)
- Clifford G4 alarm with the following upgrades:
---Battery powered backup alarm (found on ground in mud where car was parked, still going off. May have finger prints on it.)
---Tilt-motion sensor (triggers alarm if the car is jacked up or
towed)
---Normally open kill relays on both ignition and fuel pump.
With the two sirens, this thing was freaking LOUD when the alarm was going off. It would be painful to be under the hood when the alarm was sounding. With all the kill relays, it would basically be physically impossible to start this car without both the key and alarm fob. I believe it must have been towed. Who ever took it was a professional thief who must have REALLY wanted THIS car and went through a lot of trouble to take it.
Mods on the car. Please keep an eye out for these parts for sale in the PA, NJ, DE area!:
16x7.5 Kosei K1s in gunmetal (VERY rare) with Falken Azenis
Koni Yellow dampers
Ground Controls 425lb/in front and rear
Mugen Header (VERY rare) - badly discolored and slightly dented on bottom
Mugen Cat-back (VERY rare) - slight scrape on bottom of canister
Apex-i V-AFC with Field harness (harness is VERY rare)
Tanabe Super H front strut tower bar (rare)
Honda Type SH matching rocker and rear undertrim
Crappy 7 year old Sony tape head unit and 10 disk changer

I'll keep my eye open in case they came as far south as MD, but in all likelihood this car was chopped up long ago. Check eBay of course, and look in the local papers.

On another note - a lot of people are hesititant to stop tow-truck drivers from taking a car unless they're 110% sure it's not supposed to be taken; they'll figure it's being repo'd or parked without a sticker, etc. etc. etc.
You may want to call a real, reputable tow company and ask if they know about any who do shady work like this. It almost worked for someone I knew, who had his Dodge Stealth stolen from downtown Baltimore - he called a large Baltimore tow company, who said that lately they'd heard "XYZ Tow Company" or whatever they were called had been in shady practice. The car was dissambled before the cops would act on it, but they were able to find enough to prosecute the tow company and recover most of his loss. Worth a try, anyway.

sorry to hear that
the club is useless if someone has a hacksaw since the steering wheel is plastic.
im suprised no one saw anything or your friend didnt hear this loud alarm
i hope he had theft insurrance on a car like that, especially since its pennies compared to collision or other types of coverage
i have my own kill switch's installed, since i dont trust an alarm to be untamperable, i also make absolutely sure no-one follows me home from the races
i would have to agree that it was probably towed after the alarm was cut and thrown away
they could pop the door (this is a 10 second job on most honda's/acura's), pop the hood, cut that shit out, toss it in the mud
drag your car out of the parking spot, drop it, pick up the front and take off in probably about 60 to 90 seconds.
i guess lojack or onstar is the only real thing that could have found the car in this situation.
