Default H22 OBDII swap into an OBDI car - possible?

Well I'm sure it is, but is it possible within reason?

Let's say I want to swap an H22 into my 94 Si (which I do), the chances of the engine I get being OBDII are pretty good, if not guaranteed, right (don't they all come from 97-01 JDM ludes?) If I'm not mistaken, those are all OBDII, and up till 96, all 4th gens were OBD1. Anyone done a swap like this? I'm just curious as to the amount of work entailed in wiring it all together (properly, cleanly). Thanks.

does the place you intend to buy your h22 from say that they only stock h22s that are out of 97 or newer preludes? because japan had h22s before 97, since 92 i think. unless you are talking about the type s motor, you should be able to get an obd 1 h22.

no, no place in mind yet, I just figured that by now, most of the JDM H22s stocked would be from newer models. If you're right, and OBD1 H22s are still easy to get, the performance specs are the same, right? (i.e. 200hp@6800)

Most places seem to mostly only sell the obd1 swaps except for the rarer swaps like type s, euro r etc. Im sure they can get both, but the obd1's are more in demand.
