color looks good, but focus points are off in some and framing is your next lesson. try framing a little more to the left right up and down, not so much dead right slap in the middle. over all good job and keep shooting, only way to keep getting better is shoot shoot shoot shoot.

second the focus issue. might be a lens issue as well. even in the close ups the focus is all soft

i agree on the focus issue. as to the Rule of Thirds, it still applies in your subjects here. There are a few good landscape examples here:

Also, play around w/ your white balance settings. It'll help w/ the over-blue flag, browned out dog, etc.

Dog isn't browned out I don't think, that's how he looks. As for the over blue flag, I was just messing around with saturation in PS. All I did for post prod was auto levels in lightroom. Used 18-55 kit lens, polarizing filter on the tree shots, no filter on the rest.
