lightroom2 is the best at editing straight raw images without adding to the photos, like masking and layering. Pics are mediocre at best, you definitely need practice on your framing. Thinking about the light source, even at night, can change your composition. Too much light blows out an image, looses detail and confuses the viewer. The wood is OK but playing with your depth of field would have helped it be more dramatic. Nice pics tho!

All valid points. Thanks for your constructive comments. Hopefully I'll improve as I shoot more. My main objective was to actually get out and shoot something and get a little more working time with exposure control.
