It looks good. You could have positioned the pistol the other way (not upside down) and/ or maybe propped it up to give the photo more depth and dimension? It is a little soft at the bottom so maybe up lower the aperture a a few steps?

Maybe have a few loose rounds displayed as well?

This picture is just too generic nothing stands out... it's just a normal picture even the colours (just plain black/white) are a little fad maybe converting it to grey scale could work. might bring somewhat of a dark emotion to the pic.

Adding amo to the pic could bring more life... but it could also make it even more generic/cheezy

The fact that the gun's handle point upwards is a bit annoying... you want to feel like just grabing the gun but the direction would mean you'd have to grab it with you left hand.

If you like the subject try taking macro shots... its a nice tool and i'm sure macro shot would come out pretty well.

increase the numerical value of the "f stop"

so instead of f2.3 you should have shot it at f4.0

gotcha. it was probably closer to 5.6. i left it where it was because i was working with limited light so i'd have had to up the iso and i didnt want to have to do that.

Yeah.. crank it down to 8.0 to get everything in frame fully focused. Do you have the exif info? Just curious.
