Magnetic wide angle lens for your P&S
I'm a realtor, so I do a lot of indoor photography. I use a Cannon SD750 most of the time, and pretty much all of my indoor photos sucked because you could only see part of a room at the same time.
A colleague recommended I try one of these, and I found them online for about $40, so I figured what the hell. I wasn't able to find them in any local camera stores.
So basically, you adhere a little metal ring to the OEM lens area. The new lens just magnetically sticks to the front of the camera, and can be removed in a second.
So, here's a quick demo of what this little bastard can do. Yes, my house is trashed, yes there is no light... this is just to demonstrate how the wide angle improves your range of view. The photos were taken from the exact same vantage point.
There ya go. h:

I was holding the camera in hand in low light, so yeah, it's blurry. If you notice in the second pic, there is a little black stuff around the corners. This is because I didn't center the lens quite right... I'm going to have to be careful about that.
I just moved it around a couple days ago. I like it this way too.

Both of those were taken in auto mode, so I have no idea how it affects aperture, shutter speed or any of that business. I'll probably take it to a listing tomorrow and try it out for realz
