-Make a box around the text
-Stroke it to 1 pixel
-Fill it with a color (I prefer gray)
-Change the opacity to like 25% or so...judging on how much you want the text & pic to stand out
It'll seperate the text from the rest of the pic...but without giving a huge contrast.

Thanks WiLL, Marshy, and C-Rouge. The portrait was not taken with the canon powershot, but a 20D of my friends. They are monsters, Very hard to operate. But at least I got one good shot. I used a white posterboard on an cloudy yet bright day. Went into PS and refined his acne a bit. Anyway, about the fonts, how do I do that? Like black outline etc, and can you be a little more detailed on the text box pixel etc. Sorry, I'm just confused.
