Default A rare kind of machine (56k forget it)

I was sitting around having coffee at a local Starbucks and this 38 Ford came pulling in. As the owners were parking I grabbed my camera out of my bag and proceeded to ask them if I could take a few shots and they obliged me.

It turns out that this is one of only 15 of this particular model still in existence.

Impromptu session so the cab in the background is unfortunate but I was very happy to be able to shoot this car and talk for some time to the owners of this immaculate resto-custom machine.

I believe it is a 38 Ford Club Coupe convertible if memory serves me. It was a couple days ago so my memory of the convo is kinda slack h:

Simply gorgeous. :happysad:

I need a change... perhaps a classic car is in my future.

I am looking at picking up a 4 door version of this 37 Ford sedan locally for $750 as my next project vehicle.

Its basically just chassis and body but thats not a bad price considering what I have seen them go for.

That car is really cool. Its a shame they don't really make cars with the same kind of character that cars back then had

They'll look back 50 years in the future and say the same thing about the cars we drive today.
