Default building and lake pictArs.

My brother emailed me this link to a pretty niffty action a guy put on his site. If you scroll down to #23 that is the one i used on this pictAr. He has some other nice little tuts that I scanned.

Anyways pictAr time.

These pics are just right off the camera with minor level adjustments and unsharp mask for the reducuction in size

For the red waterfall and sky pictArs, I just white balanced on the street lamps in the area till the camera changed the hue of the light coming from the water gun in the lake. Came out pretty cool. So ya...

how do you do the long shutter speed.. with out having the exposure really high. i've done some long shutter speeds so it catches the lights from cars as they go by, but the camera auto adjusts the exposure level.. aka the longer the shutter speed the higher the exposure.

I believe my apatrue settings were around -2ev to 0ev depending on how long I had the shutter open. Is that what you are talking about?

yah. but when i set the shutter speed to 30 seconds.. it automatically adjusts the apature to +2.0.. and i can't figure out how to lower it while keeping the shutter speed for 30 seconds. i just haven't had enough time to play with the camera i guess

Camera has to be in full manual mode where both shutter and aperture can be set seperate from one another.
