Are you talking about cross processing slide film? If so then yes I have done this with some really hice results.
Otherwise I am unsure of what you mean.

It gives very vivid colors and a lot of detail. Much better than standard negative print film in that area.
Cross processing it gets some really cool results though mildly unpredictable at times.
The one downfall to slide film is the price of the film itself as well as the processing costs a bit more as well.

The color saturation and grain comes from the cross processing and I will be ding more shots with cross processing because I like the effect it gives.
