I like my Velbon Videomate 607

Not a real expensive one but it is fairly light and adjustable.

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/cont...=240474&is=REG I bought a cheap Canon one it was $40.00. Its light, the legs are quick to adjust, And the camera can be removed really fast via a cam lock setup. Has a level built into it and came with a carry bag. It econo all the way but it works

I have Bogan/Manfrotto legs with a Bogen/Manfrotto grip-action ball head. This head alone is probably $100 and then you should be able to find a deal on some legs. Definitely worth the cash.
