Cool night traffic shots How to?

Ok according to DPreview you should be able to put it in shutter priority mode and extend shutter time to 30 seconds at the longest.
I would suggest reading the manual as to how you would get into this mode and play with it a bit, because 30 seconds is above average for most point and shoot digital cameras.

I have had the most success with slower film speeds, for example, fuji velvia. For those of you that don't know, this is 50 speed slide film. My camera has a bulb setting, which allows you to pick how long you want to keep the shutter open. Usually you hit the button once to open and then hit it again when you want to shut it. Take several shots anywhere from 10 sec. to 2 mintues. Make sure to keep your aperture in mind when determining how long to keep the shutter open. Hope this helps.
