I already have two HID kits in each of my cars.
It was gift from a group of friends for Bday.
I decided to sell these and not go through the trouble of removing my old and installing these. If I did not have HIDs, I'd install these.

Retail is crazy.
I'm selling them well under.
If you are interested, we can chat/talk.
As I am willing to negotiate a bit, but not jab in the nutz, hehe.

Thanks for the info.
Make sure your friend's is a DUAL Low beam and High beam.
As the H4 are Dual function in cars.
Single low beam H4 HID kits go for $300-$325.
I know the market as well.
Prices depends on condition and brand and reliability etc.

Here's some HID education bro:
HID bulbs: D2R & D2S
D2R = Reflective Headlight housing (H4 or H7)
D2S = Projector Headlight Housing (H1, 9006)
D2R have a copper'ish film pattern on 10% of the HID bulb.
(i.e. Seen in PICTURE 4 of the this AD.)
Some H4 HID kits have D2S bulbs with that shield you are talking about to make that D2R effect.
Those companies buy probably only D2S bulbs for their kits.
ProLumen has both D2S and D2R bulbs for whatever type of applications (9006, H4, H3, 9004, etc).
So lacking the H4 shield does not constitute as a bad product.
It only shows you how the company uses it's resources.
Xtec uses D2S bulbs with a shield for the H4 kits.
ProLumen uses D2R bulbs without a shield.
Same effect.
If you want another example:
OEM Acura TL uses D2R Osram bulbs in their cars' Reflective Headlight Housing.
It's because the D2R Oram HID bulbs have that factory film on 10% of the bulb.
Do your research and then educate us.
No need to jump in with a cheap shot.
