I just went out to the garage to look at the swap and the trans is an S80 so you're right, it should have the VIN. The engine is from a 95 GSR though. I bought the whole car and was going to use this in my CRX, but I got an ITR swap instead. Either way, you saved me from a huge loss selling a GSR engine and Type R trans for $2300
