What's wrong with the P28 that it can't be chipped?
Did someone botch up a chip install so the area where the chip stuff goes is ruined?

Can't believe you're giving up on the boost already... for the DX at least.

I'll bet someone with some soldering skills could fix the P28.

thats pretty much right on the money. one of the traces going to the 28pin slot got seperated from the board. It stuck to my soldering iron and when I pulled it away it pulled it back. the trace isn't broken, but i haven't actually tried to use it. The ecu will work fine if you aren't planning on running a chipped ecu and just want one to run your z6.

and to shifty, I still want to boost my dx, but I have to sell it. I got such a good deal on that hatch that I would be stupid to not go with it

I understand, my boosted coupe is gone now in favor of paying off debt and buying an EK hatch. I've wanted one for a while now. Can you post me a pic of the separated trace, sounds like something I could fix.... in which case I am very interested.
