rotors
Of course I understand my products. If I don't I wouldn't be selling them. Like I mentioned earlier you have to try these to know the difference between them. I have drilled/slotted rotors for my own car and I can tell the different. My customers put these rotors on they called me back telling me they worked great brake really good. Do you think I'll still have this business going on if this drilled/slotted rotors don't work? Y do you think a lot of people are interested in these. These are performance brake rotors they work.

Do you know why they drill rotors???
If not... http://www.teamscr.com/rotors.html
"Crossdrilling your rotors might look neat, but what is it really doing for you? Well, unless your car is using brake pads from the 40’s and 50’s, not a whole lot. "
"The one glaring exception here is in the rare situation where the rotors are so oversized (look at any performance motorcycle or lighter formula car) that the rotors are drilled like Swiss cheese. While the issues of stress risers and brake pad wear are still present, drilling is used to reduce the mass of the parts in spite of these concerns. Remember – nothing comes for free. If these teams switched to non-drilled rotors, they would see lower operating temperatures and longer brake pad life – at the expense of higher weight. It’s all about trade-offs."

I need a quote for Brembo 'blanks' - front & rear - for an '02 Accord EX 4 cyl coupe. Also quote me prices for both Axxis PBR semi-metallics (f & r), and for Axxis Ultimate pads (f & r). Will be purchasing all four rotors and a set of pads at the same time. Ship to: zipcode 30114
Questions about the Brembo blanks:
- are they blemished or seconds?
- do they come with Brembo paperwork, and warranty (and what is the warranty)?
- if there's a warranty issue, do I contact you or Brembo, and what about shipping if it is 'agreed' that the part is defective?
- are they zinc-coated, and by Brembo, or by whom?
-sorry for all the questions, but these are brake parts for my wife's car, and we all should be concerned about this stuff.
------------------------
Also, can anyone else make any comments or recommendations re: Axxis PBR or Ultimate pads? Or for that matter, any other brands that you can recommend? Is it recommended to go to Brembo rotors if one upgrades their pads from OEM? My rotors have 50K miles on them, and have never been turned, and the pads are the originals, and still have some (tired) life left, but it's time to upgrade the brakes. Thanks.
--------------------------------
BTW - I always thought that slotted (or more accurately, 'grooved') rotors are beneficial for assisting getting rid of brake pad dust, and possibly eliminating most brake squealing in the process. There are claims that they helps w/ 'de-gassing' of the rotors, but that seems more like "features and benefits" sales-hype to me. Correct me if I'm wrong, please. Also, grooving and/or drilling rotors actually reduces the efffective brake contact area (swept area), and has been blamed - perhaps without merit, for cracked and/or warped rotors, as well as chewed up pads, or at a minimum, reduced pad life.
