well i got a new civic and it had a rebuilt engine (done a month ago) but he kept the old oil pump and it went and than the engine started knocking so i need to get a new engine preferrable kinda cheap but SOHC OR DOHC either way whatever you got for a spare engine post what it is and how much you want for it and i will get back to you about it. thanks

gotta say what year, kind of civic you have. I got a d16a6 out of a 91 si i'm wanting to get rid of. If it fits your application.

cheap, but you'd have to do work cause you'd have to convert your car from obd 1 to obd0. wouldn't really be worth it for ya. I'm sure you could find one for your year that would bolt right in.

 

i have a 92 VX engine NO POWER STEERING i will practically give it away it has like 160k needs new plug wires and a new clutch line (you can use the one off your motor) it is a vtec motor but it is pritty slow. but it gets killer gas milage. going an average of about 80 down I-40 i got 43 MPG. it is everything you will need ECU tranny axles with practically new boots. send me a PM if your interested.

well i have a 92-95 dx motor... i believe its a 1.5l new seals/gaskets 100M runs like a champ... then i also have a 99 dx d16 with 50M...
