FS: ABIT IT7 MB w/P4 2.4B@3GHz + 512MB kingston DDR2700 + FREE 27gig
Hello, I am selling my p4@3GHz setup I've used for a year. I'm asking $350 for the bundle, CPU, memory, motherboard AND Western Digital 27Gig HardDrive. Insured shipping is included. (Westcoast USA only. Otherwise you pay for shipping.)

This MB is very advanced. It has ten (10!!!) USB 2 ports, 3 firewire ports, and can connect 2(x2) normal IDE + 4(x2) ATA100 RAID for a total of 12 devices. This has built in AC97 audio, (Line-in,Center/Sub, Surround Spk, Front Spk ,Mic-in), with digital input capability. It also has a built in 10/100 LAN controller.
Basically, all you need is a good video card and you are good to go.

Retail processor, successfully overclocked to :
2700 (150mhz x 18) - memory @ 300mhz, 2,2,2,5
2880 (160mhz x 18) - memory @ 320mhz, 2,3,3,6
3006 (167mhz x 18) - memory @ 250mhz, 2,2,2,5
I run it at 2880 generally. I found that there was little difference at 3006, probably because I had to turn on the 3/4 multiplier for the memory. However, all of these settings are very fast!
Kingston Valueram DDR2700 512MB CAS 2.5
This memory actually runs at cas 2 in the above settings, I didn't try to overclock the memory, just let the motherboard set it (setting is called "by speed")
Western Digital 27Gig 7200 RPM Enhanced IDE harddrive - what can I say? large capacity and never had any problems.
Disclaimer:
Overclocking puts these components at risk and out of warranty! Your mileage may vary depending on your cooling! I use an ALPHA cooler with a tube to bring fresh air to the cooler. This is NOT included in the sale. You will get the standard (very big) P4 cooler + some extra temperature monitoring case fans.
