Yes and No, people who buy from ***** are already looking for the cheapest price possible, and by going forward with this payment plan, they will get even more people interested.

I try not to deal with people who always want the best price. They are people constantly begging to lower the price, and expect GOLD in return. They're the ones calling you 25 times per day asking when the exchange parts will arrive, etc.

I already have a clientele of 100+ SERIOUS customers/vendors who would not think twice before buying their next engine from me again.

But I am not going to hi-jack this thread any further, sorry guys.

honestly, i would spend $2000 for a motor at total-boost before i would spend $1000 for a motor at osaka. osaka is just known for having a ton of problems. i wouldnt spend $1000 for a complete B18C5 swap from them

i totally understand that comment. in the business i work for we deal with people that spend anywhere from $200 to $25,000 and the people that spend $25,000 are the people that never bitch about anything and enjoy it all. but the people that you hook up and only charge them $200 are the ones that bitch about every tiny thing and how $200 is too high of a price when it should have been $300 to start out with

And I believe another big downsidefor ***** with this idea is the fact you mentionned a contract would be in play. So, if there's a contract there's obligations from both the seller, and the customer.

So that said, that means every engine will need to meet the customers needs, if not exceed them. You see, if 2 sensors are broken and you promised non-broken sensors, and you ignore the customer and do not replace the parts, that would be a breach of contract, and he can walk away with a 50% discount.

Let's be honest, ***** ships alot and if often happens the sensors are cracked, regardless of the company its orginating from. At the moment, the market revolves around any company that can treat its customers like they should be treated, and proudly stand behind their word, and/or warranty.

Actually, it sounds very interesting. I'd definitly be down for financing a swap but it would most likely depend on interest rates and down payment. It would be a great idea to finance because incase the motor breaks 2 weeks later..the buyer wouldn't be out of the full entire swap. Maybe you should consider some type of warranty that goes along with financing. That is, if you stand behind your product.
