Default Divorce, Children, and Advertisement

Has anyone seen the new ford commercial where the family gets back from some trip or something, and the dad thanks the mom for letting him go before she drives off with the kids?

I know I sound like an old conservative yelling at the changing times, but does this bother anyone? How we're getting to the point where people are praised for maintaining a good relationship after a divorce? Shouldn't we be encouraging couples to stick together for the sake of their kids instead of promoting divorce?

I saw that and thought it was pretty stupid. What demographic are they trying to sell to or lifestyle are they trying to put forth??

they are trying to hold that their vehicles will allow for family togetherness, even after a divorce.

the idea is that even though the parents may not be married or still in an intimate relationship a healthy family life can still be had.

That is a stupid retarded commercial. I'm surprised they didn't have that homo Taylor Hicks singing a ballad about Fords bringing everyone together regardless of the circumstances.
