are you for or against?
organ and tissue donation? well you all know how me and old man feel, but im just curious how you all feel about it. just wondering cause this weekend i went to a ceremony honoring organ donors. there was this family with a 2 yr old who recieved a liver, and the baby whos child died was there too, he saved 2 kids one with the liver and another with a heart. it was really a heart touching story. but with a nice ending for 2 familes.
oh btw my sis passed 5years ago and we donated, she have her pancreas and 2 corneous to people.

 

I'd rather have my parts go to good use than be burned up, or god forbid, rot in the ground.

I don't have the organ donor sticker on my DL though. I personally feel it's better to not advertise that to the health profession I just let all friends and family close to me know in case the need ever arrives.

Props to you...I don't think I could go that far. I just don't want folks findin stuff about me that I didn't even know about or want other people finding out about.

As far as the topic and this recent reply, my liver is trashed and not for sale. I don't need folks pokin around and writing thesis about the chemical balance of an organ that prooves I'm an alcholic, or I wank too much, or my brain functioned poorly when being stimulated, or I had IBS...f that.

As far as donating, have a field day. I obviously can't use it, why not let someone live. As long as it's a donation and not for capitol gain, take what you need.
