Takara focused on the robot form first, truck mode second. :T

Considering this figure is only 4.5inches high, there wasn't much room to add additional transformation pins and cogs.

Just wanted to check in and say wassup to everyone. I know that I haven't been involved as much with the older threads, but I do take a gander every once in a while.

Definitely will be keeping my out for that new Prime. Just looks fantabulous.

G2 Battle Prime is almost ready for shipping. e-Hobby posted the final, non-ps'ed production images.

my unbiased opinion here.. the G2 series really took turn for the worse, vs. G1. i even remember that from when i was a kid.. :happysad:

G2 was a mess. There were some pretty good figures (Dinobots, Sideswipe, Voicebox Prime) ... and some pretty bad ones (repainted jets, megatron, etc)

The G2 Prime I don't hate ... but I'm not really loving it, yet. I'm pretty sure when boxed images arive, I'll make up my mind then.

on a side note,
http://cgi.ebay.com/Lot-of-Transform...QQcmdZViewItem

if anyone is interested, $50 for Megatron, Ultra Magnus, Kup, and Blurr = hot deal. The shipping is a bit brutal, so calculate before you actually think about it.
