Anyone notice it's the ultra magnus mold for the cab with the NY head and windows? Take a look at the front wheels of the pic. Those are the nubs to make UM stick to the body of the trailer.

I wonder if the NYP is based off the UM mold? If so, what's the other prime based off of?

 

So what's the verdict on this KO Prime in CA? Think it's worth the $150 or would it be worth waiting for the trainee007 guy?

 

I believe the NYP is based off the original prime mold, but they just repainted the eyes and changed the window plastic.

Don't forget, for the KO, they probably just got whatever mold was available. It's not like they care after all. They probably found the UM cab mold, the OP trailer mold, and put the two together for production.

 

No. For that much, throw in another $30 and get a TFC 00 original. Now that i look at the fine details of the KO, like the wheel nubs, purists will see it as a flaw and the prices won't be worth as much.

that $150 is really pushing it. I enjoy the figure and all, but for that price, you could get an original.
