In my idicoy, I forgot a poll, but anyways.
I figured this would be a cool COTW. Ive been running out of decent cars, and I figured Id mix things up a bit. Recently, I spoke with Dorikin(a lurker who I chat with on AIM) about changing COTW, doing JDM COTW, or Used COTW, or Retro COTW.
Since the Caldina may come here as a Scion, i figured its an interesting and relevant COTW

Very good choice of cars. If you're running out of ideas you could even have have Concept COTW (not sure if you've done this). Compile spy shots and news on upcoming models.
Anyways, this is a good source for everyone who has been wondering about the next Scion. Like I said in other posts, I think its a sure bet this is the one coming over next year when Scion launches nationwide. I wouldn't be surprised if we only got the base model 1.8 or 2.0, due to price constaints. The one thing we're missing is interior shots. A previous post had em, and the interior looks pretty awesome. If they can bring the 2.0L at 16k over I wouldn't mind having one of these.

Neither would I.
Honestly, I dont care what engine we get as long as the drivetrain is 4WD, so I can do my 3SGTE swap!
I think even a higher priced option with the GT-FOUR drivetrain may serve as a good halo car for Scion, and give it REALY credibility amongst "tuners" and JDM freaks.

Couldn't agree with you more. AWD and a turbo model would definately be a great halo car for Scion, in fact, Toyota would be foolish not to have a halo car of its newest brand. I'm still kind of cautious, because options like these are usually found in cars price beyond 20k, an area that Scion has publically said it would not enter into, at least initially.

If Scion made a Caldina GT-Four N avalible, for 20k I would be on it in a second.
Honestly, it may be do-able, cause Toyota can make Money on the Caldina in the Japan Home Market, then sell it here. They did it with the Ist and bB(xA and xB), so why not here.
Honestly all i would need on the car(aside from drivetrain)
Air
Power crap
MD or Single CD
A Manual would be nice, but if they can only do Auto, thats ok.
Alternately, If the 3SGTE is out of reach, gimme a 1ZZ Model with SMT :naughty:
