I'm sure there's something to be gained by opening up the exhaust. Rotaries have historically seen really big gains (even without forced induction) when their exhaust systems are freed up. Think of adding power to it in the way that people add power to an S2000.

I hope this thing sells. And I hope we see the return of the RX-7. If its anywhere near as sexy as the last one, ill be very happy. A 3-rotor RX-7 would be bad ass, and would give the 350Z a very good run fo its money.

I hope all these new performance car sell well too. The more the sell, the more incentive for manufacturers to bring over the even faster cars. The people who benefit the most from this are the consumers. I wouldn't mind having choices between that AWD accord, M3, S4, GT-R, C32AMG, and etc.
