Motor Trend says CTR Coming to US

I think it has been posted a while back. Too lazy to search for it. But I think this is what the Si should have been for two reason: 1) This is incrementally better than the previous Si, which is good. You expect better car w/ a newer model. 2)In this price range, this would compete much better than the current Si does.

With better competition now than there ever has been in the "hot hatch" market I feel that Honda/Acura is sorely behind. Now almost every manufacturer has a performance-oriented compact (SE-R, Mazdaspeed Protege, SRT-4, SVT, etc...) that is at least as good as the Si, if not better, in the same price range. Ideally if Honda wants to be seen as credible it should bring the Civic Type-R over as our Si (since Acura will probably be the only brand here to use the Type-S/R designations) and then bring the Integra Type-R as our RSX Type-S, but keep all the luxury features as options. Keep prices relatively the same and you'll prevent product overlap. Problem solved.

IMO the CTR is too little too late. if they want to release it, then they should do one of two things 1: make it limited production, or 2: make it better. i.e. giving it 220 hp, or the k24 with like 250, or turbocharging it. and before any of you say that honda doesnt do turbo.....your wrong, they do.
it seems to me that at this point, considering the msrp of the Si, its going to be hard to make the CTR competitive with the other hot hatches on the market.
